About the role

We are looking for a wine lover and foodie CMO who will transform Wineally into a leading global brand in the wine and food industry by developing and leading a modern, efficient and innovative marketing department. Wineally is part of a digital ecosystem for commercial actors and private individuals.

In your role as CMO, you will be responsible for getting the actors in the ecosystem, regardless of role, to understand the brilliance of the functions offered and get them to actively contribute to maximizing buzz marketing. As the app develops, growth will take place through so-called PLG, Product Led Growth, ie a large part of the marketing takes place via the business systems and the app to increase the benefits and use.

Together with the founder and management the CMO will drive and develop strategies and goals for the business, that result in profitability, sustainable business and continued learning. CMO plans, structures and follows up the activities that drive marketing and sales forward. The CMO manages a handful of operational employees who design and create campaigns, measure marketing activities and follow-up on outcomes and impact. The CMO and team are also working on the launch of new products and services.

The CMO will be part of Wineally's management team and will report to the CEO. The main workplace is our head office in Helsingborg. We believe that you live in or around Helsingborg with a maximum of 20 minutes' journey from the office.

  • Participate in management work
  • Planning, implementing, budgeting and overseeing all marketing and sales initiatives
  • Select and be responsible for collaboration with external agencies and other suppliers
  • Lead and inspire a team
  • Manage and monitor marketing resources and spend
  • Continually develop reports to monitor marketing and sales initiatives
  • Work with product development and market analysis for new products/investment calculations
  • Continuously conducting market research and competitor analyses.

Who are you?

You have at least five years of experience with online and offline marketing channels as well as sales. Experience in establishing new brands and products. It is a plus, but not a requirement, if you have worked in an entrepreneurial international scale-up company with a digital business idea (preferably in wine or food). You have at least 3 years of experience in personnel management. You also have a very strong understanding of digital marketing and are well versed in the digital tools, platforms and channels used to build a sustainable and cost-effective marketing automation strategy to create digital growth.

You are a result driven and thrive in an environment with constant change. You are an inspiring leader with a strong drive that engages your team, colleagues, media partners, and all other external partners. You take ownership and are structured while having the ability to work independently. You are also a master at time management and execute your agenda efficiently.

In order to enjoy your role as CMO you are a person who takes initiative, a creative soul and flexible individual with a willingness to work at a fast tempo. You enjoy both working operatively as well as having the ability to have a bird’s eye view and lead strategic agendas. You are also used to creating and managing a budget, setting goals and data analysis including reporting. Since we are a global scale-up it is imperative that you can communicate fluently both written and spoken in English. It is a given that you have strong computer skills and strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package. Let’s not forget, you are a wine and food lover!
